Overview

M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of global manufacturing organisation who requires a HSE Officer.

As the HSE Officer you will be responsible for supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility and making sure policies are implemented consistently.

Responsibilities

• Continually assess the status of HSE within the plant (ISO 18001/ IS0 45001)
• Support the HSE Coordinator in the coordination and management of COSHH, PUWER, LOLER etc. recording and reporting any non-compliance and following up on any actions
• To ensure risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and to take part in these as appropriate
• Support the delivery of training events for HSE Basics, Work Place Data Sheet and Manual Handling etc.
• Ensure that the objectives of the EMS are being met.
• Conduct HSE inductions for new starters

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate
• IOSH Managing safely
• Experienced working within a fast paced manufacturing environment within a HSE capacity.
