Overview

M-Tec Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing organisation which requires an HSE Officer. As the HSE Officer you will be responsible for supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental activities throughout the facility and ensuring policies are implemented consistently.

Responsibilities

• Continually assess the status of HSE within the plant (ISO 18001/ IS(phone number removed)
• Support the HSE Coordinator in the coordination and management of COSHH, PUWER, LOLER etc., recording and reporting any non-compliance and following up on any actions
• Ensure risk assessment and accident management systems are in place and participate as appropriate
• Support the delivery of training events for HSE Basics, Work Place Data Sheet and Manual Handling, etc.
• Ensure that the objectives of the EMS are being met
• Conduct HSE inductions for new starters

Qualifications and Experience

• NEBOSH Certificate
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment in an HSE capacity
