This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HSE Officer to take on a pivotal role within a leading manufacturing environment, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and employee well-being. With a focus on strategic development, regulatory compliance—including ISO 14001—and operational excellence, you'll play a central role in shaping a safer, more sustainable, and productive workplace. What You Will Do

  • Support the development and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies in collaboration with senior management
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Manage and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet ISO 14001 certification requirements
  • Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments, ensuring all activities align with company and legal sustainability commitments
  • Deliver HSE training and awareness initiatives across all levels of the organisation
  • Investigate workplace incidents and environmental non-conformities, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental performance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
  • Support energy management initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency improvements (experience with ISO 50001 is beneficial)
What You Will Bring

  • Significant HSE management experience in a complex, high-risk manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications (environmental or energy-related certifications are a plus)
  • Experience managing and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
  • Knowledge or exposure to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities
