What You Will Do:
- Support the development and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies in collaboration with senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Manage and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) to meet ISO 14001 certification requirements.
- Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments, ensuring all activities align with company and legal sustainability commitments.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness initiatives across all levels of the organisation.
- Investigate workplace incidents and environmental non-conformities, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental performance and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Support energy management initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency improvements (experience with ISO 50001 is beneficial).
What You Will Bring:
- Significant HSE management experience in a complex, high-risk manufacturing environment.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualifications (environmental or energy-related certifications are a plus).
- Experience managing and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Knowledge or exposure to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
