An established industry player is seeking a dynamic HSE Manager to spearhead health and safety initiatives across multiple sites. Currently recruiting a UK wide HSE Manager for a large FMCG business. You will be the most senior HSE professional for the UK, heading up the centralised function with responsibility for 7 sites with a headcount of just over 400 people. Coaching and mentoring one direct report, supporting their development. To create and drive the Health and Safety strategy, to communicate it effectively at all levels and remain a hands on, visible leader, who will lead by example, bring a positive, energetic approach to the business and who can empower the sites.
We require someone who is commutable to Northamptonshire, where 3/7 sites are located and someone who is able to travel approx. 4 days a week, in particular to a site in the North West.
The role will be 80% H&S and 20% Environmental but as environmental and sustainability continues to become more important, this part of the role will likely increase.
Salary on offer is £75-90K DOE plus 15 - 20% Bonus and Company Car Scheme worth circa £7K (plus additional package).
