Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years job-specific experience in HSE
• Up to 3 years experience in Operations Management
• Knowledge of HSE laws & regulations
• Advanced English and fluent local language
• Strong mentoring, multicultural, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Applications and Enablon

Responsibilities

• Lead and support local HSE Officers to foster a safe culture
• Develop training plans aligned with HSE Skill Matrix and Training Program
• Provide functional leadership across multiple sites with varying tech & risk profiles
• Ensure compliance with Freudenberg Standards, FPM strategies and local regulations
• Implement corporate HSE guidelines tailored to site needs
• Maintain documentation and reporting to meet legal and corporate requirements
• Oversee risk assessments across locations and track updates
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions & contribute to crisis planning
• Share best practices within Corporate HSE and site teams
• Support internal audits and safety data analysis for continuous improvement
• Drive Safety Culture initiatives and training programs
• Evaluate Safety Culture tools and their use across sites
• Coordinate with safety teams and committees for alignment and communication
• Provide technical support and training to promote safe working environments
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills
• Advise on workplace design, ergonomic improvements and equipment procurement
• Support social and sanitary facilities planning per HSE standards
