Contract Type: Fixed-term contract under NAECI Salaried Staff Status

Position Overview:

Caldererías Indálicas is seeking an experienced HSE Manager (Health, Safety & Environment Manager) to lead the safety and environmental strategy at the North London Heat and Power Project, in compliance with the highest standards of the NAECI agreement and current UK legislation.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in industrial projects under NAECI, strong leadership and technical skills, and a proactive approach to health and safety culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the project’s HSE Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and NAECI requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Site Manager, contractors, and the client to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supervise and lead the HSE site team, including HSE Officers and Site Safety Supervisors.
  • Manage internal and external audits, and coordinate with regulatory inspections.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and promote HSE training and awareness programs for all site personnel.
  • Actively participate in NAECI Site Committees and meetings with Health & Safety Representatives.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly HSE reports, aligned with client and company KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial projects under NAECI or similar frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NAECI structures and compliance, particularly in multi contractor environments.
  • Additional certifications (preferred): SMSTS, ISO 45001 Auditor, First Aid at Work.
