An automotive component manufacturer undergoing positive changes requires an additional HSE Manager to provide environmental health and safety guidance across business units. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large automotive manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.

Location: Commutable from Liverpool, Halewood, Chester, Birkenhead, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Knowsley

Package: £60,000 - £70,000 p.a., plus Car allowance, 6-8% pension match, and Family Bupa health cover

The Role

Reporting to the HSE Director, your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the Health and Safety budget.
2. Preparing and presenting health & safety reports to the board.
3. Participating in the commissioning of new buildings.
4. Collaborating with plant EHS Coordinators to ensure compliance and the implementation of best manufacturing practices.

The Person

Applicants should be educated to degree level in a Health & Safety discipline and have:

1. Extensive experience in automotive manufacturing.
2. Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001, with familiarity with IATF 16949.
3. Excellent multitasking abilities and proficiency in MS Office.
