HSE Manager

Alexander Steele is working with a global food manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire. Our client is looking for a dynamic HSE Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. This is great opportunity for an experienced individual to work alongside the SLT, whilst playing a key role in the development and implementation site’s HSE strategy.

What’s on Offer:

  • Paying up to £80,000 + 10% bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures to reduce risks to personnel and the environment.
  • Manage and maintain compliance to build structure to ISO14001 and other HSE related standards
  • Provide professional leadership, support, and development to team members.

Background Experience:

  • 6+ years’ experience in HSE management within a food manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH Diploma qualified
  • Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong COSHH knowledge
  • A strong track record of leading and motivating teams in previous positions.
  • Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
