HSE ENGINER - CONTRACT – NORTH COAST OF WALES

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to work onsite in the North Coast of Wales.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
  • Experience: 3-7 years in the Oil&Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survey/investigation
  • Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

JOB SCOPE

As HSE Engineer you will report to the Project HSE manager. You will ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our decommissioning and carbon capture project.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, define and supervise HSE procedures at project and construction level
  • Lead Risk Management process (i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, Hazard and Effect Management Process, Risk Assessment, etc.)
  • Support implementation and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Plan and conduct internal HSE audits
  • Coordinate and prepare HSE files and other deliverables following CDM regulations
  • Lead accident / incident investigation
  • Complete supplier HSE evaluations, readiness reviews and review supplier HSE documents to ensure they meet the Project requirements
  • Cover for HSE Trainer, PTW Officer and HSE Officer
  • Records, coordinates and monitors HSE Performance and KPI's

RESPONSIBILITIES

RATE: Please quote what limited company hourly rate you would be looking for.

DURATION: Start ASAP.

WORK PATTERN: Full time. Five and a half days per week.

LOCATION: North Coast of Wales onsite (with 5% trips to London)
