Job summary

A leading consultancy in engineering is seeking an HSE Engineer for a permanent position in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a degree, HSE qualifications, and 2-4 years of experience with IMCA contractors. Responsibilities include subcontractor management, compliance assurance, and internal audits. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience working for an IMCA contractor.
• Must hold Auditor and investigation certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor evaluation and documentation.
• Develop and maintain project deliverables.
• Lead risk management processes.
• Conduct internal HSE audits.

HSE Engineer - Permanent – Surrey

Our client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for an HSE Engineer to join the team in Surrey.

Requirements

• Education: Degree level qualification as well as HSE qualification i.e. Nebosh
• Experience: 2-4 years working for an IMCA contractor
• Certification: Auditor and investigation certification
• Technical Knowledge: IOGP and IMCA standards

Job scope / Responsibilities

• Subcontractor Management and Evaluation including Supplier Document Register
• Develop and maintain Project Deliverables
• Lead Risk Management Process
• Facilitate HSE Readiness Reviews
• HSE Contract Administration
• Ensure compliance with Contractual and Regulatory Requirements
• Plan and conduct Internal HSE Audits
• Lead Investigations
