Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an HSE Coordinator for our Tewkesbury site to support day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will assist with risk assessments, COSHH, safety documentation and workplace inspections while promoting a positive safety culture. The role involves close collaboration with production and engineering teams and regular safety briefings.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Good understanding of COSHH and risk assessments.
• Proactive with documenting and communicating safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the manufacturing site.
• Assist with risk assessments and workplace inspections.
• Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work and safety documentation.
• Maintain and update Health & Safety records and COSHH register.
• Review Safety Data Sheets and support COSHH risk assessments.
• Carry out workplace inspections and identify hazards.
• Assist with internal Health & Safety audits and inspections.
• Promote safe working practices and PPE.
• Support with employee inductions and safety briefings.
• Identify practical safety improvements with production and engineering teams.
