Job Title: HSE Coordinator

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

We are recruiting a HSE Coordinator to join the team. The successful candidate will support the development and ensure the delivery of the Company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental strategy, policy, and processes, supporting the QHSE Lead.

Role Summary: The Health & Safety Coordinator shall ensure the Lifestyle Portfolio team and other third parties comply with health and safety policy and oversee the related systems and functions to maintain compliance. Conduit between the client key stakeholders, operational leads, and CBRE SMEs to drive collaboration and understanding of HSE.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Inspections, Reporting, and Systems Administration
  • Administer and maintain all CBRE and Client safety systems, including RiskWise, Harbour, and eLogbooks.
  • Provide health, safety, and compliance reports as required.
  • Program, conduct, and report occupier demise inspections (ODIs) on brand outlets.
  • Ensure all non-conformities from ODIs are completed as per process, within deadlines.
  • Monitor and oversee FOG inspection and maintenance on food & beverage outlets.
  • Maintain records related to non-compliance and escalate to the Client promptly.
  • Conduct regular health and safety observations and inspections.
  • Report all accidents, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions timely.
  • Analyze data for trends to drive continual improvement.
  • Contractor Management
    • Manage the Riskwise contractor management system, including work permit reviews and approvals.
    • Drive improvements in onsite contractor management processes.
    • Ensure third-party contractors comply with permit requirements.
    • Conduct inductions for contractors and maintain records.
    • Attend pre-start meetings for contractors and monitor compliance.
    • Perform permit spot checks to ensure adherence to guidelines.

    Experience Required:

    • Formal qualification in Health and Safety management and Environmental management.
    • Practical application of auditing.
    • Experience in engineering services within busy, customer-facing environments.
    • Working towards IOSH membership at graduate level minimum.
    • Experience in event investigation & analysis.
    • Development and delivery of HSE training.
