Job Description

We are currently looking for an HSE Coordinator professional to join one of our key clients based in London. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office in Islington and 2 days from home.

They are seeking a Coordinator with a strong administrative background and excellent IT skills, as the role involves working through PQQs, assisting with invitations to tender, etc. Any relevant experience in these areas would be highly valuable.

Salary

- £36.5-£41.5k

Your role will encompass:

1. Provision of HSE support and advice to the EPC team
2. Completion of HSE audits and inspections
3. Analysis of audit findings and working closely with site teams to effectively close out nonconformities
4. Assist in drafting and reviewing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
5. Encourage an open and positive safety culture
6. Support the workforce to reduce H&S risks
7. Assist in incident investigation and identifying root causes
8. Provide input during the pre-construction stage (planning requirements, pre-construction information, etc.)
9. Carry out office HSE audits
10. Identify training needs and competency requirements
11. Provide input during tenders and Design Risk Management Workshops
12. Update company’s approved contractors’ list
13. Work closely with the department HSE managers to ensure office compliance with HSE standards
14. Collate monthly ESG & HSE statistics from projects

What you bring to the role:

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, or industry recognized equivalent (Technical Member of IOSH is an asset)
• Experience as an H&S professional in a construction (CDM), electrical, or related technical environment
• Previous solar/renewables experience is highly desirable
• Experience as an ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditor is an asset
