HSE Technical Support, CBRE Property Management UK

Location: London/ Hybrid

Role Purpose: Support the CBRE Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality Strategy for the UK, specifically the Head of HSE UK and extended support to the Head of Fire Safety Operations and Regional HSE Managers who deliver property related risk management for our Clients and stakeholders. Producing and delivering a robust safety management system and suite of documents to support the delivery of core health and safety services within the organisation. The support and deliver measurable improvements in health, safety and environmental performance are crucial to our successful engagement and support to the operational FM teams across the organisation.

The role reports directly to Head of Health and Safety

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of HSE in accidents and incidents monitoring. To review reported incident severity and support the FM teams in H&S investigations and remedial actions.
  • To support the Head of HSE and Head of Fire Safety in the technical reviews of current SOPs in line with legal and technical updates from industry. To work with the HSE Administrator to finalise internal communications at publish.
  • To support the HSE Department by providing technical support in an advisory capacity for our FM/BM stakeholders.
  • Help develop in conjunction with the HSE team new processes, including Bulletin News updates in line with reviewed and republished SOPs.
  • Support the communication and culture of CBRE HSE policies, procedures and guidance ensuring PMFM understanding and support the delivery of the CBRE HSE and Client objectives.
  • Champion the ongoing improvements of CBRE’s safety and environmental management systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001and 5001 and PAS99, ensuring delivery of continued accreditations for the Company and Clients.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and best practice to ensure continuing legal compliance and best practice in the UK.
  • Attend regional team meetings and support in any health and safety briefings to increase HSE awareness and engagement.
  • Provide support and technical advice to the HSE Regional Managers and the Property Management and Facilities Management (PMFM) teams to enable them to undertake their roles and responsibilities for health, safety and the environment.
