Job summary

Shillito Group is recruiting an experienced HSE Co-ordinator / Health & Safety Advisor to join an engineering and manufacturing environment. The role focuses on compliance, risk reduction and maintaining a positive safety culture, delivering inductions, toolbox talks and daily guidance to managers and staff.

You’ll conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement on site. The position is site-based with a focus on practical HSE delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/industrial environments with risk assessments and inspections.
• Experience in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.

This is a practical, site based role supporting the day to day management of Health, Safety and Environmental activity, with a focus on compliance, risk reduction and maintaining a positive safety culture.

You’ll be responsible for:

What we’re looking for

You’ll need previous Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment, with experience supporting risk assessments, workplace inspections and incident investigations.

A NEBOSH General Certificate, or currently working towards it, is required, alongside IOSH Managing Safely.

You should also have a good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, risk assessment processes and safe systems of work.

Salary

£32,000 per annum
