In-Comm Training & Business Services is seeking a Sector Lead for Health & Safety to own the provision, drive learner outcomes and champion continuous improvement across two sites. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee safety management, and ensure QA across academy operations.

The role requires NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, assessor and IQA qualifications, and experience aligning with Ofsted EIF and ESFA guidelines. A senior leadership perspective is essential.

Formación

• NEBOSH qualification and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification (or commitment to achieve).
• Assessor qualification at Level 3 CAVA and a V1 Internal Quality Assurance award.
• Level 3 Award in Education & Training with Level 4 teaching qualification.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above.
• Proven coaching, mentoring and KPI achievement for learners.
• Hands-on health & safety management across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of Ofsted EIF, ESFA funding guidelines and awarding body requirements.
• Experience conducting appraisals, session observations and QA activities.
• A Level 3 Management qualification would be an advantage.

Sector Lead — Health & Safety

Are you a Health & Safety professional with the expertise to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team? In-Comm Training is looking for a Sector Lead to take full ownership of our Health & Safety provision — overseeing quality assurance, driving learner achievement, managing academy H&S across both sites, and championing continuous improvement. What We're Looking For

• NEBOSH qualification and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification (or a genuine commitment to achieve these — training is available)
• A Level 3 CAVA or equivalent assessor qualification, and a V1 Internal Quality Assurance award (or equivalent)
• A Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent), with a Level 4 teaching qualification also essential — training available
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
• Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team to meet KPIs and deliver outstanding learner outcomes
• Hands‑on experience managing Health & Safety across operational sites, including accident and near‑miss review and corrective action
• A solid understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, ESFA funding guidelines, and awarding body requirements
• Experience conducting appraisals, session observations, and quality assurance activities
• A Level 3 Management qualification or a Service/Business Improvement qualification would be a distinct advantage
