Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance at a construction and manufacturing plant in the Isle of Grain. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH General Certificate and at least 2 years of experience in an HSE advisory role. Responsibilities include developing HSE policies, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A proactive approach to risk management and training staff is essential. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £270 to £300 per day.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HSE advisory role within construction and/or manufacturing environments for 2+ years.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK HSE regulations, including CDM 2015 and ISO 45001.
• Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and site-specific risk assessments.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, producing reports with recommendations.
