Job summary

A leading shipbuilding company in Methil is seeking an HSE Advisor to drive safety excellence across operations. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety and experience in large projects within marine, offshore, or oil & gas sectors. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance, conducting risk assessments, and supporting ISO accreditation. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on establishing a safer workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HSE support on large projects, ideally in marine, offshore, or oil & gas environments.
• Internal auditor experience for ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is desirable.
• Working knowledge of environmental legislation and best practice is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support HSE performance across site operations and report progress.
• Conduct and document risk assessments and workplace inspections.
• Represent HSE in daily and weekly site meetings.
