Join a Leading Organisation in the Nuclear Industry

We are looking for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support our operational teams on various sites located across the Northwest, predominantly Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Widnes & Carrington.

Reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager, you will be a key point of contact for operational advice, onsite performance, compliance with Altrad's integrated management system, and legal requirements.

Key Objectives:

1. Ensure daily operations are compliant with Altrad's integrated management system, policies, and legal requirements.
2. Support, advise & monitor site working practices and activities.
3. Support the development of RAMS in the planning stages of the scope through to execution.
4. Provide functional support to the Site Management and Operational Team, advising on HSEQ standards on sites.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assist the regional HSEQ manager in the delivery of Altrad's & regional HSEQ objectives.
2. Work closely with onsite HSEQ & Operations Teams, assessing and responding to site requirements.
3. Be visible onsite and engage with Altrad employees; promoting and developing a sound safety culture.
4. Support in the development & reviewing of risk assessments and method statements ensuring they form a robust Safe System of Work & are effective.
5. Identify training needs and deliver internal Altrad packages.
6. Record actions from HSE management system audits, inspections, and safety tours and monitor progress of NC's, OFI's & actions raised.
7. Advise and assist in Safety related investigations alongside the operational team as required.
8. Be instrumental in continuous HSEQ improvement supporting our customer(s) and associated contracting teams onsite.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years' experience of delivering HSEQ support, advice, and guidance to site-based teams.
2. Minimum NEBOSH certificate but working towards Diploma or higher education.
3. Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
4. Ideally a background of an industrial multi-service provider in the Petrochemical industry or similar sector. A strong understanding of scaffold or mechanical background would be advantageous.
5. Confident in presenting to the workforce, management teams & customers.
6. Valid driving license.

The role requires you to work a standard 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunity during busy periods available.
