Overview

Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing business that is looking to appoint a HSE Advisor. The successful applicant will have a strong background in Health & Safety with some understanding of environmental and can implement policies and procedures to improve the business moving forward. The role will include the implementation of ISO standards as well as developing and growing a small team.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Establish KPIs
  • Drive the quality strategy and culture within the business.
  • Work closely with customers in order to ensure their quality expectations are met.
  • Work closely with all business process owners on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Undertake regular quality audits
  • Ensure health Safety and Environmental issues are investigated and appropriate strategies are put in place to ensure safety and compliance with relevant regulation.
  • Manage and mentor the Quality staff and identify any training needs
Qualifications
  • A higher qualification in engineering or equivalent/relevant qualification plus a relevant Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH
  • A proven track record of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive achiever
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
