Job description

Discipline: HSE Advisor

Location: Pembroke, South Wales

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 6-9 Months

PAYE Pay Rate: £340/day Monday to Friday

The Role:

We are seeking an HSE Advisor to join a leading mechanical contractor on a major industrial engineering project in Pembroke. This role will involve site-based supervision of health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine site inspections to ensure safe working practices are followed.
  2. Support toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings.
  3. Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE procedures, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
  4. Work closely with site management and trades teams to promote a strong safety culture.
  5. Assist in incident reporting and investigations, ensuring accurate documentation.
  6. Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors regarding HSE compliance.
