The HSE Advisor will provide essential assistance in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.
This role involves supporting compliance efforts, ensuring quality control in reporting, and assisting with various HSE tasks to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
Key Requirements
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• Risk Management experience - HAZId / HAZOP
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE support role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices (IOGP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and manage large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HSE management software.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Certification in HSE-related training is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of HSE reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Support incident reporting and investigation processes, including data collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain and update HSE records, databases, and management systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Conduct quality control checks on safety reports, audits, and inspection documents.
