Job summary

A specialized recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor for a long-term Rail & Construction project in London. You will manage safety aspects and ensure regulatory compliance on high-profile projects. This role requires NEBOSH certification, IOSH membership, and at least 5 years' experience in the construction and rail sectors. Competitive pay of £325-£350 per shift offered.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH membership (or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction & Rail.
  • Valid ICI LUL, Asbestos Awareness, Medical & D&A certificates necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of safety across the project.
  • Maintain and report on all HSQE KPIs.
  • Produce project HSQE briefings and deliver site inductions.
  • Conduct programmed site inspections and support Site and Project Managers.
  • Develop and implement procedures for full regulatory compliance.

Overview

HSQE Advisor (Rail & Construction) - Nights

Contract | £325-£350 per shift (DOE) | Farringdon, London. Sunday-Thursday Nights (22:30-04:30). Some occasional day shifts.

We are seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to join a long-term project (minimum 18 months) within the Rail & Construction sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working on high-profile London Underground projects.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all aspects of safety across the project
  • Maintaining and reporting on all HSQE KPIs
  • Producing project HSQE briefings and delivering site inductions
  • Carrying out programmed site inspections and supporting Site and Project Managers
  • Developing and implementing procedures to ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Authoring company risk assessments for the project
  • Completing HSQE sections of supplier assessment packs
  • Conducting FaceFit testing for new staff
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH membership (or equivalent)
  • First Aid at Work (3-day) qualification
  • Strong knowledge of HSQE systems and procedures
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction & Rail
  • Valid ICI LUL, Asbestos Awareness, Medical & D&A certificates
  • Basic DBS check
  • Previous experience within an HSQE department
