Field-based role covering the Midlands to the North (occasional visits to Canary Wharf office and other UK sites)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedHealth & Safety Advisorto join a growing organisation operating at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and positive working environment across a range of projects.
The Role
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will:
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and contractor reviews.
Support and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports with corrective actions.
Deliver HSE training sessions and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
Review project HSE documentation and contractor RAMS.
Drive HSE improvement initiatives across projects.
Promote a proactive, positive safety culture through engagement and communication.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
About You
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
Proven experience in a health & safety advisory role.
Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice.
Utilities industry experience (desirable).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems.
Personal Attributes:
Detail-oriented and proactive.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to influence and engage with contractors.
Calm under pressure and capable of handling sensitive situations.
