An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals with a genuine interest in healthcare and patient safety to join the team within the Hospital Sterilisation and Decontamination Unit (HSDU). We provide operating theatres, wards, and departments with surgical instruments and medical devices required for sterile procedures. This role supports clinical and surgical teams in delivering excellent, high-quality, and safe patient care.
37.5 hours per week. Part-time candidates will be considered.
The roles require flexibility with cross-site working between the Trust’s two hospitals: Eastbourne District General Hospital and Conquest Hospital. Ability to travel independently between sites is essential.
We deliver most acute services from Conquest Hospital in Hastings and Eastbourne District General Hospital. Both hospitals provide 24-hour emergency and a range of surgical, medical, and maternity services supported by diagnostic and therapy services. Our community services extend throughout East Sussex, providing care in patients' homes, clinics, and GP surgeries.
