VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a BAND 7 Project Manager for HSCNI. The team is expanding their existing specialised service. This is a full time role with real scope for assignment extensions and likely will be advertised as a permanent position. This should be seen as an excellent way to gain experience, if you have aspirations to get into HSCNI on a permanent basis, or want to work (genuinely) meaningful projects.
Remuneration:
The salary on this role is in line with the HSCNI BAND 7 pay scale.
The Ideal Person
Experience in 5 Case Model Business Cases
Experience in Portfolio Management, to include Benefits, Risks and Change Management
Extensive experience in Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
Experience in Strategic Planning, Transformational Change, Business Development, Program/Project Management and Stakeholder Relationships
Process Improvement
Experience in delivering positive change and improvement in larger public sector organisations
Previous experience of working within Dept of Health
Responsibilities
The role involves:
New requests - receiving and logging requests, arranging and participating in request reviews and facilitating the approvals process.
Discovery work - carrying out stakeholder engagement and discovery work for minor change requests/projects, as well as assisting the Digital Discovery Manager with the discovery work for more complex projects.
Producing key documents such as Discovery Reports, Project/Programme Mandates and Commissioning documents.
