Qualifications

  • PhD in Haematology / Leukaemia / HSC biology or closely related field.
  • Strong background in haematology, leukaemia (clinical/translational) and HSC biology.
  • Extensive experience with flow cytometry.
  • Experience in primary tissue culture (ideally with HSCs).
  • CRISPR editing in primary human cells.
  • Genomics data analysis expertise.
  • Familiarity with transcription factors; animal models desirable.
  • Strong publication record; proven funding track record desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a project on how coding and non-coding areas of transcription factors influence HSCs and leukaemia risk.
  • Plan and conduct experiments independently; collaborate with the lab team.
  • Communicate findings in writing and at conferences; supervise master’s students if required.
  • Contribute to communal tasks and support other lab members as needed.
