Job summary

Elcometer Limited in Manchester is seeking an HS&E Support Coordinator to assist in coordinating, administering and monitoring the company’s preventive and protective measures. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining HS&E policies, procedures and statutory requirements across the site.

Key duties include supporting the HS&E Management System, communicating initiatives, preparing presentations, and driving improvement workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, coordination or HS&E support role in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting HS&E audits or inspections.
• Experience using HS&E management software or systems.
• HS&E experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
• Working across multi-site and multi-cultural locations.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and administration of the HS&E Management System & Improvement Programme.
• Assist in communicating the HS&E Management System & Improvement Programme to all functions.
• Support the preparation and delivery of HS&E presentations and goals.
• Assist with coordination and delivery of improvement workshops.
• Support departments to identify HS&E improvement opportunities.
• Assist managers with delivery of HS&E actions across the business.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support in HS&E matters.
• Maintain documentation and systems of work in line with HS&E Programme.
• Support root cause analysis to resolve HS&E problems.
• Collate and report HS&E statistics regularly.
• Maintain hazard spotting and accident/near-miss reporting systems.
• Keep up to date with HS&E legislation and communicate requirements.
• Support occupational health surveillance administration.
• Maintain accurate record keeping for integrated safe systems of work.
• Support administration of safe systems of work for contractors and visitors.
• Assist managers with accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate HS&E audits and inspections across site.
• Monitor risk assessment process and track completion.
• Support risk assessments across departments.
• Ensure HS&E compliance for on-site contractors.
• Monitor progress against objectives and KPIs.
