Next Ventures is seeking an experienced senior HRIS Programme Manager for a long-term contract position with our client in Scotland.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Scotland
Duration: 12 months + extension
Rate: INSIDE IR35
Description:
- Programme Leadership & Strategy: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale HRIS programmes, ensuring timely and quality completion within budget.
- Develop and manage programme plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
- Align HRIS initiatives with HR strategy and business objectives, translating goals into project plans.
- System Implementation & Optimization: Oversee implementation, configuration, and integration of HRIS modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management) within systems like Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Drive process re-engineering to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and user experience.
- Ensure effective testing, data migration, and cutover strategies.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as the main contact for programme updates, engaging senior leadership, HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Build relationships with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage expectations.
- Vendor Management & Team Leadership: Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contracts, and performance monitoring.
- Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Establish governance, change control, and issue resolution processes.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality of HRIS solutions.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 8+ years in HRIS programme or project management, with large-scale implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Oracle Cloud HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Experience in vendor management and oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
