Job description

Job Title: Regional HR Business Partner

Hays HR is currently recruiting for a Permanent Regional HRBP to work for a growing business in Harrogate. The role requires attendance at the Head Office in Harrogate once per week, two days per week at other Yorkshire-based sites, and two days working from home.

You will be part of a team reporting to the Head of HR, providing advice and support to Line Managers on people issues. You will serve as a point of contact for general day-to-day HR issues, handle complex ER cases, and lead various HR projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support managers to ensure all people-driven activities comply with employment legislation and best practices.
  2. Ensure all company policies and procedures are updated and communicated across all sites.
  3. Provide advice on HR issues in line with company policies and employment law.
  4. Support line managers with disciplinary and grievance procedures, maintaining a HR presence throughout.
  5. Guide on maternity/paternity leave and flexible working requests.
  6. Undertake ad-hoc HR projects as assigned.
  7. Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by the Head of HR.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments preferred.
  • Multi-site experience is advantageous.
  • Strong coaching, development, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Experience managing ER issues such as discipline, grievances, and performance management.
