Job summary

Standard Life plc is recruiting for a People Technology Transition Lead to oversee the successful delivery of all HR technology transition activities, including moving colleagues from Workday to Oracle HCM with Payroll. The role provides end-to-end leadership across solution design, configuration, testing and data migration to ensure a seamless colleague experience.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in HR technology transitions, specifically Workday to Oracle HCM migrations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM configuration principles and ability to balance business requirements with standardised platform capability.
• Experience in payroll operations, data migration, system integrations, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership across design, configuration, build, testing, deployment, cutover and hypercare activities.
• Own the transition roadmap, delivery plans, risks, dependencies and issue resolution across all HR technology workstreams.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Payroll and third-party partners.
• Translate business requirements into effective Oracle HCM inc. Payroll solutions and ensure alignment to target operating model and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain People Technology design governance and data standards.
• Oversee data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation and migration readiness.
• Direct the development and testing of interfaces between Oracle and connected enterprise systems.
• Drive deployment readiness, payroll parallel runs and post go-live support.
