Apprentice role in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

This role is suitable for someone with entry-level experience, such as a 2024 A'level/BTEC leaver interested in HR systems or someone currently working in HR seeking to transition into an HR systems-focused role at an early-career or foundational level.

The person in this role will support the administration, maintenance, operation, and configuration of SAP SuccessFactors, as well as support the payroll system (ResourceLink) where necessary.

You will be a key point of contact for user and reporting queries for both systems. You will work closely with the Head of Compensation & Benefits during the annual compensation review process, focusing on tasks such as data input and employee information updates into our compensation system (Payscale).

Responsibilities include:

  1. Act as the first point of contact for system user and reporting queries.
  2. Maintain and administer the HR system, including configuration of job titles, cost centres, work schedules, permissions, etc.
  3. Coordinate the preparation, production, and distribution of reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  4. Support system actions aligned with HR calendar events (performance reviews, pay reviews, holiday processing, compliance training).
  5. Collaborate with internal colleagues and third-party vendors for system maintenance and support.
  6. Assist with system changes, testing, and communication of updates.
  7. Identify opportunities to improve data quality through audits and reconciliations.
  8. Create and maintain system documentation and training materials.
  9. Provide end-user support through training for new and existing users.
  10. Support the annual compensation review process with data management tasks.
  11. Assist with cyclical and ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
  12. Undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs.
