HR Systems Analyst

Location: Ealing

Salary: £50,574 - £52,584 per annum inclusive (Grade 12)

The Role

The Council is seeking to recruit a HR System Analyst (iTrent) with application support skills across MHR iTrent and Business Objects.

Ideal candidates will have experience supporting HR/Payroll systems, preferably iTrent. Candidates with comprehensive expertise in other HRIS systems will also be considered. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days on-site per week.

The primary objective of this Systems Analyst (Business Systems) role is to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions to ensure efficient HR and Payroll operations within the Council. This includes managing system elements such as accounts, workflows, and integrations, and providing multi-level support across the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. System Development and Management:
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of core systems, ensuring they meet organizational standards and user needs.
  • Assist in developing and managing system integrations for seamless data flow.
  • Coordinate system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with vendors and service providers.
  • Process Optimization and Workflow Management:
    • Review and optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
    • Implement best practices to enhance business processes.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide end-user support to maintain service levels and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and deliver training programs, including user guides and induction sessions.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Ensure data integrity and security in accordance with standards such as GDPR.
    • Develop and maintain system reports and dashboards for decision-making.
  • System-Specific Duties:
    • Act as the primary contact for HR Systems issues, providing multi-level support.
    • Communicate and resolve system incidents with HR Systems suppliers.
    • Train users on HR System self-service features and create user-friendly guides.
    • Develop reports using Business Intelligence tools.
    • Contribute to the Analytics Data strategy for dashboard manipulation and trend analysis.
    • Provide technical support for Payroll and HR data processes.
    • Assist in system implementation and upgrades, minimizing operational disruption.
    • Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
