Job Description: HR Support Analyst

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions. These services include HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Reporting to the HR Systems Manager, you will support the HCM Oracle system through analysis, troubleshooting, testing, implementing improvements, maintenance, and upgrades. You will also coach end users to develop expertise, drive process excellence, and serve as first-line support for all HR System queries.

What you’ll do:
First Line Support
  • Serve as the initial contact point for HR system queries via the HR helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Respond proactively to queries, provide accurate information, resolve issues promptly, or escalate as needed.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and address user concerns.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues relating to the HR System, collaborating to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Support testing and functionality; assist in making changes, ensuring correct implementation, and that workflows continue to function effectively.
  • Support end-to-end testing of new functionalities and system updates, working with stakeholders to validate system performance.
  • Assist in preparing and implementing bulk data uploads.
Training, Education, and Documentation:
  • Create and update training materials and process maps to aid user understanding.
  • Conduct training sessions on new functionalities and refresher courses.
  • Maintain documentation and user guides, notifying users of updates.
  • Support change management activities related to system updates.
  • Act as a champion for Oracle guided learning guides, focusing on employee, manager, and reporting guides.
  • Support and share knowledge to empower HR colleagues in resolving system issues independently.
Change Management and Project Support:
  • Participate in change initiatives to facilitate adoption of new processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects, providing insights for system enhancements.
  • Assist with minor system changes as a super-user.
  • Provide feedback on system performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate on data retention policies and ad-hoc report creation.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with HR Systems, especially Oracle Cloud Applications (Oracle HCM, Fusion HCM).
  • Experience in writing test scripts, managing testing, and reporting outcomes.
  • Proficient in creating reports in Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in providing first-line support for system issues.
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving system issues.
