HR Specialist

Located on the site of two meticulously restored traditional houses in the Engadin, Switzerland, Chesa Marchetta will revive a beloved local institution. The new hotel boasts beautifully appointed bedrooms, 1 private residence, 45-seat restaurant, cocktail bar, wine cellar, and two private event spaces.

What you’ll do with us:

  1. Be a key member of our team as we open this hotel and restaurant
  2. Take responsibility for the full employment cycle: recruit, onboard new team members, support them during their tenure, and manage offboarding
  3. Coordinate performance reviews and feedback with the General Manager, identifying training, coaching, and mentoring needs
  4. Promote a positive working environment focused on engagement, recognition, and communication at all levels
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, payroll checks, and manage employee relations
  6. Manage our people management system for data accuracy, timely information input, and reporting
  7. Support management on HR best practices and serve as a confidential point of contact for team members
  8. Manage accommodation for the team, supporting new arrivals and daily needs

What you bring:

  • Relevant HR experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality
  • Practical payroll management experience
  • Good knowledge of L-GAV
  • Experience with Mirus software is a plus
  • Hands-on employee relations management
  • Confidence in recruiting and resourcing
