About the Volunteer Opportunity

Are you passionate about connecting talented individuals with exciting career opportunities? Are you interested in making a meaningful impact in the field of human resources? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer HR Recruiter to join our team.

As a Volunteer HR Recruiter, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates for various volunteer positions within our organization. You will collaborate with Team Leads to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective strategies to identify and attract top talent.

Duration

  • 3 months (60 volunteer days)
  • At least 3 hours per day
  • Part-time
  • Remote

Volunteer Activities

Working with our CEO and Human Resource Team, your volunteer role includes:

  • Collaborate with leadership to create and execute effective recruitment strategies that align with the company’s mission and values.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leads to determine staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Review applications and screen applicants.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking tool.
  • Assist in the development and posting of job advertisements and descriptions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay updated on innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring teams on recruitment progress and challenges.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English – both written and verbal.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high levels of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the company’s recruitment needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, with a results-oriented approach, and deliver on projects within the required timeframe.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and situations as they arise.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
  • Comfortable working remotely and using online tools and software.
  • Strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition.
  • Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Prior experience in recruitment or HR-related roles is desirable but not mandatory.
