In this HR Project Partner role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to senior managers across all services in the Council; helping them to improve staff performance and to embed our values and drive our transformational change. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a number of people related projects across the Council. On a day-to-day basis, this will see you offering expert guidance and solutions on matters related to workforce development, recruitment, retention, employee engagement and wellbeing. You’ll deliver a range of HR Projects too - providing training, facilitating focus groups, running 1:1 coaching and driving people related change and transformation.
From collaborating with trade union representatives to supporting managers and staff internally, your persuasion and influencing skills are going to be put to excellent use. You will have experience of and understand local government services but other experience in similar fields will certainly be considered. We’re looking for someone CIPD qualified with significant experience advising managers on complex employee matters, and a sound understanding of employment law and the statutory local government service environment. You should also be familiar with delivering people related projects and initiatives, assisting services to transform and drive performance through people.
This role will suit an individual who has a wealth of knowledge in HR advisory / business partnering work who has delivered a range of HR Projects.
