Job Summary
Responsible for planning, executing and delivering varied strategic HR initiatives and projects. Driving continuous improvement in HR processes and tools across the HR function and the group. A key support role to the HR Director, this role ensures that HR projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives, working with cross-functional teams across all levels in the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HR projects such as talent and performance management programs, acquisitions and integrations, standardisation and harmonisation initiatives, and organisational change plans.
- Act as HR lead for all acquisition and integration projects, including due diligence, consultation, communications, relationship building and legal compliance.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets and hold project review meetings to monitor progress and ensure action execution.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, external regulations and internal policies.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings as required to build understanding and align expectations.
- Analyse project outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiency through HR management operating systems, processes and tools.
- Support the development, implementation and leadership of the BRUSH Academy alongside the Critical National Infrastructure Director.
- Provide generalist HR Business Partner support across the Group as required.
- Line management of 1 HR advisor; coach and provide support and development to HR Advisors/Administrators.
Qualifications
- Level 7 CIPD qualified.
- Experience of working in a generalist role, with a broad and strong knowledge of employment law and how it can be effectively applied.
- Experience of managing large, complex HR projects to deliver business objectives.
- Senior stakeholder management experience — communicates, challenges and influences a variety of stakeholders across the organisation effectively.
- IT literate, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and computerised HRIS; comfortable analysing and presenting HR data to stakeholders.
- Is client-focused and commercially astute with the ability to learn and understand the business unit, the context and markets in which they operate and their P&L. Able to converse, challenge and add value on business matters.
- An ambitious, energetic and dedicated individual, with a passion for driving positive people-related changes.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Willing to travel within and outside of the UK.
