A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Interim HR Project Lead for a 12-month assignment in Dundee. This role involves managing a high-impact HR transformation programme, focusing on recruitment efficiency and candidate experience. Interim HR Project Lead - 12-Month Assignment (with possible 3-month extension)
Location: Hybrid - Dundee office attendance required up to 2 days/week
Hours: 35 hours per week (typically Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
Pay: £272.69-£301.51 per day (pay award pending)
Start Date: Mid-June 2025
ASA Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with our client to recruit an Interim HR Project Lead to support a high-impact HR transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HR professional with strong project management experience to play a key role in shaping and streamlining recruitment and onboarding processes to meet strategic workforce targets.
About the Role
Reporting into the HR Business Partnering team, you will act as a central liaison between recruitment, finance, Organisational Workforce Development (OWD), and operational colleagues to ensure alignment of workforce planning processes and the successful delivery of inspector recruitment targets by 1 April 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating closely with OWD and operational teams to onboard new inspectors and support headcount increases over the next 12 months.
Reviewing and aligning recruitment activities and policies across the organisation with strategic goals and timescales.
Leading the implementation of a new Candidate Management System (CMS) integrated with the existing payroll system, covering all phases: planning, procurement, customisation, testing, documentation, training, and go-live.
Ensuring all project work supports wider organisational needs and enhances overall recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
Educated to Level 8 or equivalent in HR, Business Administration or related field - or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in HR project management, especially with HRIS or candidate management system implementations.
Strong understanding of vendor management and procurement processes.
Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with recruitment, operations, and workforce planning teams.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to create documentation, deliver training, and evaluate process success.
Proficiency in HR systems integration and tech adoption.
Desirable
Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
Additional Information
Standard Disclosure will be required.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis with flexibility, but requires up to 2 days per week in the Dundee office, with occasional travel to other offices as required.
