Qualifications

• Experience delivering UK redundancy and consultation programmes.
• Background in HR, Employee Relations or People Operations.
• Experience in consulting, restructuring, transformation or change environments is desirable.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to operate at strategic and administrative levels.
• Available immediately or on short notice.

A private equity-backed business is seeking an experienced Interim HR Programme Lead to support a significant organisational change programme within a UK-based manufacturing environment.

Working closely with senior leadership, legal advisors and the people function, you will take ownership of a structured workforce transition project, ensuring all consultation activities are delivered professionally, compliantly and with a high degree of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a UK workforce restructuring programme.
• Support and administer collective and individual consultation processes.
• Prepare consultation packs, employee communications, letters and supporting documentation.
• Build and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Act as the central coordination point between HR, leadership teams, legal advisors and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with UK employment legislation and best practice.
• Support face-to-face consultation meetings and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and project records throughout the programme.

Ideal Background

• Proven experience delivering UK redundancy and consultation programmes.
• Strong HR, Employee Relations or People Operations background.
• Experience gained within consulting, restructuring, transformation or change environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and highly administrative levels.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice.
