HR Policy Consultant – Birmingham

6 Month Contract • 450 - 500 pd (Umbrella)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of an HR Policy Consultant on an initial 6-month basis.

Overview

HR Policy Consultant will be responsible for developing and creating new HR policies, as well as revising and updating existing policies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and promote new HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the continual changing legal landscape and HR best practice, as well as organisational requirements, culture and values.
• Lead and facilitate formal communication, consultation and negotiation processes
• Provide responsive and accurate information and guidance on policy related matters
• Prepare clear communications for stakeholders across the business.
• Facilitate training and communications and managing any subsequent procedural tasks.

About you

• Previous experience as an HR Policy Consultant / Specialist
• Experience of launching new policies and managing through to launch.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Experience of policy development and implementation.
• Proven experience in interpreting and advising on policy and procedures within a complex organisation.
