A leading recruitment consultancy in Birmingham is seeking an HR Policy Consultant for an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will design and develop HR policies, ensure compliance with UK employment law, and provide guidance on policy-related matters. This role requires prior experience in HR policy formulation and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance. Competitive daily rates are offered.

HR Policy Consultant

6 Month Contract

£450 - £500 pd (Umbrella)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of an HR Policy Consultant on an initial 6-month basis.

What you’ll be doing
  • Design, develop and promote new HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the continually changing legal landscape and HR best practice, as well as organisational requirements, culture and values.
  • Lead and facilitate formal communication, consultation and negotiation processes
  • Provide responsive and accurate information and guidance on policy related matters
  • Prepare clear communications for stakeholders across the business.
  • Facilitate training and communications and managing any subsequent procedural tasks.
About you
  • Previous experience as an HR Policy Consultant / Specialist
  • Experience of launching new policies and managing through to launch.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience of policy development and implementation.
  • Proven experience in interpreting and advising on policy and procedures within a complex organisation.
