Job Description:

Responsible to: Resource Planning Team Manager

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team of 9, handling client calls, taking information, and reading case notes to triage calls or work items to the appropriate team or consultant via call transfer or setting up a callback appointment on the system. This role offers entry-level exposure to HR, with training provided, and potential career progression into our graduate scheme or Employment Consultancy team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Using excellent customer service skills to manage a high volume of inbound calls, determining the appropriate 'next action' such as scheduling a callback or direct transfer.
  2. Listening carefully to clients and setting appropriate expectations based on their input and information from the HR system.
  3. Using the telephone system 'Openscape' and staff scheduling system to monitor staff availability for incoming calls.
  4. Ensuring records are accurate by entering information into the advice system and relevant logs.
  5. Maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
  6. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  7. Performing administrative and clerical duties, including managing workflow within the HR system.
  8. Handling internal calls regarding workflows and task levels as needed.
