Job Summary
As an HR Personnel at Tazzergroup, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our company’s human resources operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business objectives. This role involves managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and possess a thorough understanding of HR best practices and UK employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Job Posting and Advertising: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Post job vacancies on appropriate job boards and social media platforms.
- Candidate Selection: Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and perform reference checks to identify suitable candidates.
- Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company and understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Employment Offers: Prepare and deliver employment offers and contracts, negotiating terms as necessary.
Employee Relations
- Point of Contact: Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related issues.
- Conflict Resolution: Address employee relations issues promptly and fairly, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights, using this information to improve HR practices and reduce turnover.
Performance Management
- Appraisal Systems: Develop and manage performance appraisal systems, working with managers to set clear performance goals.
- Feedback and Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities to support employee development.
HR Administration
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with UK employment laws and regulations, staying informed of any changes in legislation.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, handling inquiries and ensuring employees are aware of their entitlements.
- Reporting: Prepare regular HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Policy Development And Implementation
- Policy Creation: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and legal compliance.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure that HR policies are applied consistently and fairly across the organization.
Health And Safety
- Regulation Compliance: Ensure that the workplace complies with health and safety regulations, conducting regular training sessions.
- Incident Management: Manage workplace incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions are taken.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a track record of managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR principles and UK employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Personnel or in a similar role.
- CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
