HR & Payroll Officer

Are you an organised HR professional with payroll experience, ready to work in a fast-paced environment? Join our client's team in delivering efficient, people-focused HR operations.

The Role

As HR & Payroll Officer, you'll manage day-to-day payroll processing while supporting recruitment, onboarding, absence tracking, and training coordination. Working closely with managers and the wider HR team, you'll help ensure HR and payroll services run efficiently and in line with company policy and employment law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accurate, timely payroll and maintain payroll records.
  • Advise staff on payroll queries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training administration.
  • Maintain HR systems and employee records.
  • Help managers with absence, performance, and policy queries.
  • Assist with audits and improve HR/payroll processes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in HR or payroll within a similar environment.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and systems proficiency (HRIS/Microsoft Office).
