About The Role:

Days of Working: Monday to Friday

Location: Thisrole is a regional role supporting the contract across the South and Midlands and as such can be based anywhere within in the region.

The HR Operations Partner is responsible for providing HR support to operational managers across their region within the assigned contract where required; and will support the HR Business Partner with wider HR projects, workstreams and initiatives.

TheHR Operations Partnerwill build and maintain trusted working relationships with operational managers across the business to ensure that HR needs are not just met, but that they are delivered with excellent levels of service, at optimal cost and through working in partnership with operational management colleagues at all times.

This role will support our Security business division.

Key tasks & responsibilities

Functional:

  • Support operational managers with HR advice and guidance on all HR cases within the region, including high-risk, complex ER cases and providing in-person support when required.
  • To attend weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings on ER Cases and ER risk where necessary in support of own caseload and the teams.
  • To attend operational management meetings where required to deliver appropriate HR operational support. Ensuring feedback is reported to the HR Business Partner and any appropriate actions followed up from these meetings.
  • Provide monthly reports on agreed people related metrics to Account Director and HR Business Partner
  • Provide guidance and support on restructuring/change activity
  • Design and deliver training on HR topics to improve management capability and awareness.
  • Support TUPE mobilisations and demobilisations from an HR perspective – engaging with other internal stakeholders where necessary to ensure successful processes.
  • Support the IR and Engagement Strategy including identifying and implementing colleague engagement initiatives and lead employee engagement forums.
  • Work with resourcing teams on recruitment initiatives.
  • Collate and analyse data to make strategic decisions.
  • Support the HR Business Partner on continuous improvement of HR compliance and HR processes by proactively identifying trends, risks or opportunities across the contract
  • Provide the operational management teams proactive advice and support to deliver effective people management
  • Support the HR Business Partner with wider HR projects, workstreams and initiatives; and the implementation of their HR strategy.
  • Be a champion of change – support new initiatives and change management activity positively, always demonstrating behaviours in line with OCS TRUE Values.
  • Support, create and deliver DE&I and wellbeing initiatives into contract.

Necessary

  • Minimum L5 CIPD.
  • Experience of designing and delivering HR training.
  • L7 CIPD or Associate CIPD or working towards.
  • Power BI knowledge and experience- how to operate, analyse, and drill down on PowerBI MI.
  • Experience of managing change and culture initiatives
  • Business unit / industry experience
  • Demonstrable experience working within Employee Relations in a fast paced, low margin business.
  • Experience of service improvement.
