I’m looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join a busy HR function in Manchester. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a strong focus on supporting employees through their employment life cycle from onboarding through to their exit.
Manage full onboarding process: contracts, background checks, right-to-work documents, and inductions
Be the first point of contact for new employees
Maintain accurate HR records and support general admin tasks
Work closely with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding journey
Coordinate compliance, training, and orientation activities
3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a busy, fast-moving environment
Knowledge of UK employment and onboarding practices
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office
Professional, friendly, and able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure
Full-time role based in Manchester
