Job description

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (15 months)

Hours: 30 hrs minimum across 4-5 days per week. Working pattern must cover Monday and Friday.

Agile working: 1-2 days home based per week.

As a confident communicator, you'll build good relationships with managers and employees, advising on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, and raising awareness of relevant laws.

This varied role includes managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, and recruitment activities from job description to interviews and inductions. You will champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), ensuring policies support a fair and inclusive workplace.

Accuracy is essential, especially interfacing with payroll and ensuring adherence to legislation, policies, and best practices.

About You

With experience in a similar HR generalist role, you can support and guide employees and managers, demonstrating knowledge of legislation and best practices. Experience with HR/Payroll systems is desirable.

You are self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Ideally, you are CIPD level 5 qualified or higher and comfortable handling sensitive conversations professionally.
