HR Officer - Employee Relations Specialist

Looking for your next contract in HR? This is a great opportunity to gain more experience in a fast-paced setting within the public sector. This role allows you to work independently with support from an experienced HR team.

About you

  • Associate CIPD
  • Two years' experience in providing advice and guidance on HR policies and processes
  • Two years' experience in managing disciplinary, grievance, and absence procedures
  • The ability to work as part of a team to improve service quality and support colleagues

What you'll do

  • Manage human resource and employee relations issues in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements (e.g., disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance)
  • Undertake investigations related to personnel matters
  • Assist with developing and managing procedures, record keeping, and reporting activities
  • Coordinate responses to requests under legislation such as freedom of information and data protection
  • Liaise with managers and advise on sickness absence and Occupational Health
  • Prepare absence management reports for case review panels
